Shrewton Silver Band currently have vacancies in the Cornet section (solo, second and third), and would welcome extra brass players right across the rest of the band. Our target is full manning plus a reserve contest player in each section to spread workload and improve availability for engagements and competitions.

As an actively contesting band (1st section from Jan 2011) we need commitment from players who can make 2 practices a week (Mon and Thurs evenings) and further practices prior to contests.

Also as a busy village band we need players who can attend events ranging from Civic Ceremonies to Summer Fayres and formal Band Concerts throughout the year across South Wiltshire.
