Age: Let's just say I had my half century about 3yrs ago!

How you started banding:

If you played in the school band you had a chair to sit on in assembly; everybody else had to sit on the floor; seemed like a pretty good reason to me.

Best ever moment:

There’s been quite a few, but winning the National finals in 1998 and again in 1999 are probably amongst the best.  

Worst ever moment:

There’s been quite a few of them as well…Hmmn! Perhaps we’ll just dwell on the best bits.

When did you join:

First joined 1988/89 and left in 1997. Re-joined end of 2007.

Glen Miller stuff closely followed by Hootenanny…..

Any other details:

Managed to hang onto my seat though skillful playing, technique to achieve 5 National final appearances: (1^st section – Dundee, 2^nd section – RAH and Harrogate, 3^rd section – Nottingham, 4^th section – Harrogate) with the 6^th appearance coming up in Harrogate later this year……!
