Shrewton Remembrance Parade Sun 13th November. The band, not supported by Amesbury Band due to their commitment, mustered a good sized turnout on a warm and dry day for a change. Some players were out of position, so thanks to Tim (Bass), David (Horn) and Anne (Flugel) for carrying lighter Cornets for the day! Thanks also to Craig for visiting from Bristol and hope Sunday Lunch was adequate reward!

Durrington Village Hall Concert Sat 22nd October. We presented a concert of 'The Bands Favourites' which included marches, overtures and film themes. There were also solos from our principle cornet Di Bartlett, and Paul Griffiths joining us on Euphonium. Timepiece - a euphonium duet played by Paul and Chris Friend was one of the highlights of the evening. Our thanks go to our friends from Downton Band and Julie on Soprano who deputised for some of our players currently enjoying sunnier climates this week.

Band Coffee Morning.
Held at Dave and Mary's in Tanners Lane, Shrewton. A very sociable stream of visitors came to browse the stalls and sample the toasties and cakes in the blustery, dull but dry day. The tarpaulins on standby weren't needed, and over £500 was made towards band funds. A very worthwhile event. Thank you all those who assisted or purchased items on the day.
